The Trelawny police have arrested 2 suspects, and launched a search for a third, in relation to the gruesome murder of a woman, on Thursday.

Dead is 59-year-old Valarie Thompson, a farmer of Parnassus District.

Reports from the Clarkes Town police are that on February 14, family members went in search of Thompson, after being unable to reach her by cellular phone.

They found her decapitated body on her farm, in an area called Hampshire Lane, and called the police.

Further reports are that Thompson’s body was naked and had several chop wounds.

Following investigations, 2 persons of interest were picked up, yesterday.

They remain in custody and are being questioned.

Another suspect is being sought.
