The 2019 hero Caribbean Premier T20 tournament will bowl off in Trinidad when the defending champions the Trinbago Knight Riders take on the St. Kitts/Nevis Patriots on September 4.
The venue for this match is still to be decided as t negotiations are still underway as far as hosting the matches at the mecca of local cricket in Trinidad.
Last year, the Knightriders played all five of its preliminary round matches at the queen’s park oval, while the knockout matches and final took place at the Brian Lara academy
Meanwhile, for the third successive year, the final will be played at the Brian Lara stadium
Four days after bowling off the 2019 CPL, TKR will be back in action at home against the Jamaica Tallawahs on September 6 at 8pm followed by a midday start two days later against the St. Lucia stars.
Fans in Trinidad will get a total of seven matches in 2019, which in addition to the five preliminary round-robin matches will include one qualifieron October 10 and the final on October 12.
