2019 Netball World Cup signs memorandum of understanding with the 2021 Rugby League World Cup

Organizers of the 2019 Netball World Cup to be played in Liverpool England in July have signed a memorandum of understanding with the 2021 Rugby League World Cup which also will be staged in England.

The partnership will see both sports cooperate and regularly share knowledge and the MOU will also have a significant focus on women’s sport, as well as a range of other areas including operational matters, volunteer strategy, recruitment, legacy initiatives and marketing.

The INF netball world  cup will be staged at the M&S bank arena in Liverpool from July 12-21, and Jamaica’ senior sunshine girls ranked third in the world are drawn in group c’ with south Africa, Caribbean neighbours Trinidad and Tobago along with Fiji.

While host England are drawn in group d’ with Uganda, Scotland and Samoa, and defending champions Australia will play in group a’ against Northern Ireland, Zimbabwe and Sri-Lanka.
