With some 120 submissions vying for the Grammy for Best Reggae Album, who do you think will win the coveted prize?

Of all the Reggae and Dancehall albums released within the Grammy eligibility period, from September 1, 2020, through September 30, 2021, only five albums will make the nomination list when the announcement is made tomorrow Tuesday, November 23.

For years, the Recording Academy has been criticized for its nominating process.

In May, the Recording Academy announced various changes to its nomination and awards process which includes the elimination of its “secret” committees that previously curated the final list of nominees in nearly every category. Now, almost all of those committees are gone, and the decision rests entirely with the 12,000-strong general voting body.

The 64th Annual Grammy Awards will be held on January 31, 2022, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
