Three people were shot, 1 fatally on Mint Road in Grange Hill, Westmoreland last evening (June 27).

Dead is twenty-six-year-old Oshane Hamilton.

Reports from the Savanna-La-Mar police are that at about 9:30 pm, Hamilton and two other persons were among a group of people at a bar, when they were pounced upon by gunmen travelling in a motor car.

The gunmen opened fire, hitting Hamilton, another man and a woman.

The police were alerted and they were taken to the hospital where Hamilton was pronounced dead.
