32 more Russian athletes have filed an urgent application which is challenging the international Olympic committee’s decision refusing them to participate at the 2018 winter Olympic Games.

The ad hoc division of the court of arbitration for sport (CAS ) has now opened an arbitration procedure

The request that CAS overturn the IOC decision and allow them to participate in these games as Olympic athletes from Russia.

The parties are exchanging written submissions and a hearing is likely to be held tomorrow.

The panel’s decision will be communicated as soon as possible thereafter.
