44 new COVID 19 cases have increased the country’s tally to 10,284. The 25 males and 19 females range in age from 3 to 76 years.

St ann had the highest number of cases 13, followed by St Catherine with 10, Kingston and St Andrew had 8 , Hanover and Westmoreland  3 cases each, Manchester and St Mary 2,   St Elizabeth , St James and Trelawny had one case each.

Clarendon, Portland and St Thomas had no case.

Meantime, there was one COVID related death. The deceased is a 63-year-old male from St. Elizabeth. The number of deaths has increased to 238.

There was also one coincidental death. 24 patients recovered.

80 persons are in hospital, 19 are moderately ill and 11 are critically ill.
