A six-year-old child was killed after being mowed down by a vehicle in Yellant district in Brown’s Town, St. Ann yesterday (Oct 9).

The child has been identified as Oneil Williams of the same community.

Reports from the Brown’s Town police are that about 4:00 p.m., Oneil was crossing the roadway when he was hit by a Toyota corolla motorcar.

He was pronounced dead at hospital.

The driver of the motorcar was interviewed by the police and issued with a warning notice pending the outcome of investigations.
