75 shooters for Caribbean Cup Pistol Shooting Championships

75 shooters from across the Caribbean will compete in the prestigious Caribbean Cup Pistol Shooting Championships that will be staged this weekend at the Jamaica rifles associating headquarters in Kingston.

Jamaica’s high class shooters will be in action against competitors from Trinidad and Tobago, the Cayman Island and Barbados, competing in three divisions:

The competitors will battle in the production category – using hand guns that have not been modified

As well as standard -, which is a class that allows a wider variety of weapons with varying capabilities

In addition to the open category – where there is no restrictions on the calibre of pistol or ammunition used.

The Jamaican pair of Kevin Cheung and David Mcmorris will fly the flag in the open category.

Ryan Bramwell will wear the national colours in the standard division, while Darrin Richards, Chris Hart, Yeonie Campbell- Simpson and Renee Rickhi will represent Jamaica in the production division.

Action shoots off at 10 am.
