Entertainer Richie Stephens has put a hold on all his upcoming events in Asia after the new coronavirus has been declared a global emergency by the World Health Organization.

As the outbreak continues to spread outside China, Richie Stephens tells Music News that no amount of money is worth putting yourself in harm’s way.

According to the BBC, some 213 people have died in China, and 9,809 infected.

Reports are that there are coronavirus cases in other countries including 6 in Germany, 16 in Japan, 5 in Vietnam, 16 in the United States, 2 cases in the UK and Russia, 3 in Canada, 1 in both India and Finland, 6 in France, and 9 in Australia. These patients were reportedly infected by people who had traveled to China.
