Phil Simmons says the aim of his players is to adjust in the Sri Lankan conditions as quickly as possible

West Indies coach Phil Simmons says the aim for his players is to try and adjust in the Sri Lankan conditions as quickly as possible.

The 15 man ‘windies squad will depart the Caribbean on Saturday and will have a pre-series camp in Colombo before they face the hosts in three One day international on February 22, 26 and March 1.

This will be followed by two T/20 internationals on March 4 and 6.

Four Jamaicans including Rovman Powell, Fabian Allen Brandon King and Sheldon Cottrell are named in the West Indies 15-member squad

Powell makes a return after outstanding performances in the super 50 tournament while Allen returns after recovering from a leg injury he sustained in India late last year.

Experienced Trinidadian left hander Darren Bravo also earns a recall following his good performance as well in the regional super 50.

The rest of the squad reads Sunil Ambri, Roston Chase, Jason Holder, Shai Hope, Alzari Joseph, Keemo Paul, Nicolas Pooran, Romario Shepherd and Hayden Walsh Jr.

The squad for the T/20 will be named at a later date.
