Entertainment industry shows up for Koffee’s Post-Grammy Celebration

Entertainers, industry bigwigs, sports personalities, government officials, and the media turned out in their numbers on Tuesday night for Koffee’s Post-Grammy Celebration at the MECA in Kingston.

As expected, Koffee expressed gratitude to all who have supported her journey. With her mother Joanne Williams close to her side, Koffee spoke from her heart.

 

Beenie Man, Chronixx, Protoje, PopCaan, Agent Sasco, Jesse Royal, Jah9, Nesbeth, Suku of Ward21, gospel entertainer Rondell Positive, Kabaka Pyramid, dancer Desha Ravers, Nadine Sutherland, Queen Ifrica and Tony Rebel were some of the entertainers who supported, and celebrated with Koffee on Tuesday.

Other high-profilers in attendance were Minister of Culture Olivia Grange, President of the Senate, Tom Tavares-Finson, Downsound Records CEO Josef Bogdanovich, and track star Asafa Powell.

Koffee’s historic Grammy win makes her the first female and the youngest to ever win the coveted title in Best Reggae Album category for her EP, Rapture.
