A record number of schools including defending champions Excelsior High for 2020 ISSA High School Girls League

A record number 53 schools including defending champions Excelsior and new comers Aberdeen High have been registered to participate in the upcoming ISSA/All Island Under 19 high school girls football competition which is set to kick on February 12 at Manchester High school.

Excelsior are drawn in zone h’ alongside Camperdown, Yallahs, Kingston Technical, Clan Carty, Tivoli High and Campion College.

Beaten finalist Denham town high will compete in Zone I’ against Edith Dalton James, Wolmers Girls, St Andrew Technical, Pembroke Hall , Greater Portmore and Penwood High school.

Former champions Lennon who holds some six titles, will do battle alongside Central High, Garvey Maceo, Glenmuir, Kemphs Hill, and Vere Technical  in Zone E’.

While new comers Aberdeen High out of St Elizabeth will compete in zone A’ up against Lacovia, Newell, Roger Clarke, Black River and Steths.

A parade of the 53 schools will precede a triple header on the opening day.
