DYCR wins lawsuit against Downsound Records

Dub poet DYCR his speaking out following his victory against Josef Bogdanovich led organization, Downsound Records.

For over 10-years, DYCR was locked in a legal battle with Downsound Records for an alleged breach of contract.

According to DYCR, he signed a contract on August 12, 2004, with Downsound Records that would see him produce an album within the first year. He further laments that he was forced to take action after claims that no effort was made to put out or promote his album. DYCR who was rewarded more than 1 million dollars as compensation, speaks with Music News.

 

Meanwhile, when Music News contacted Downsound Records, a representative said, its CEO Josef Bogdanovich was locked in a meeting.

DYCR who is currently an independent artist is promoting a string of singles for producers in Kingston, and Ocho Rios, St. Ann.
