Former Prime Minister P. J. Patterson has urged the government through its promotional arm to reach out to the diaspora in areas of investment opportunities of Jamaica.
Mr. Patterson says Jamaica Promotions Corporation (Jampro) must lead from the front in reaching out to diaspora business owners and operators to facilitate their participation by way of investing in the countless number of development projects that are underway in the country.
The former prime minister who delivered the keynote address at the closing session of the just concluded sixth biennial Jamaica diaspora conference says any discussion about investment should include the diaspora.
