Spice thanks #SpiceGang ahead of being crowned Dancehall Queen by Sumfest

In commemoration of International Women’s Day, dancehall deejay Spice shared with her fans on Sunday, that she will be crowned Queen of the Dancehall at Reggae Sumfest.

On Instagram, she wrote, “Thank you #SpiceGang just for sticking with me for over a decade. I love you all forever.”

Spice who has performed more than 10-times at Reggae Sumfest will be crowned Queen of Dancehall at the 28th staging of Reggae Sumfest, scheduled to take place from July 12-18 in Montego Bay.

Organizers of Reggae Sumfest also marked International Women’s Day by releasing the names of the females slated to perform at the annual event.

In addition to Spice, the week-long festival will feature the likes of Koffee, Lila Ike, Jada Kingdom, and newcomer Stalk Ashley.

Other acts billed for Reggae Sumfest 2020 are dancehall heavyweight, Shabba Ranks, Stylo G, and Daddy1.

Reggae Sumfest activities for 2020 will commence in Kingston with the Get Social Awards in June, and a symposium on July 10.

Then the week-long activities will begin on Sunday, July 12 through to Saturday the July 18 in the second city, Montego Bay.
