The swimming union of the Americas (UANA) has postponed three events due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The events affected are the Pan-American masters championship in Medellin Colombia from June 18-25; the Pan-American Junior Water Polo Championships in Edmonton, Canada from July 4 -12, and the Pan-American artistic swimming championships in Aruba from August 31- September 6.

Jamaica, Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago along with Aruba were likely to have teams at these championships.

UANA said it will continue to collaborate with the hosts to plan new dates for the events when the world has returned to a state that adequately allows for training and travel.
