Vybz Kartel has been slapped with more disappointments.

After waiting for over a year for a ruling, Kartel has lost his appeal. However, the court is to consider a reduction of his murder conviction.

In July 2018, attorneys representing Vybz Kartel, Shawn Storm, and their co-convicts, appeared before the Court of Appeal, seeking to overturn their convictions and sentences.

The dancehall deejays and two other men were found guilty of the 2011 murder of Clive ‘Lizard’ Williams, and are all currently serving life sentences since 2014.
