by April 11th, 2020

There were several long lines and crowded supermarkets in some parishes today, as many citizens sought to get a little shopping done before the 3:00 p.m. curfew deadline.

Many stores closed by 1:00 p.m. in order to allow staff time to get home.

Over by Shoppers Fair in Kingston, one resident lamented that the curfew time is too early.

Meantime, Shoppers Fair Store Manager Patricia Smith Bravo, explained that the store will open tomorrow and Monday.

And, in Ocho Rios, St. Ann some supermarkets shuttered their doors much to the dismay of persons who gathered by the entrance.

Other stores that were still open after 1:00 p.m. were packed with customers.
