Dancehall singjay Dexta Daps will remain in police custody at least until next week.

Dexta Daps lawyer, Peter Champagnie tells Music News that the dancehall entertainer has not been charged. Mr. Champagnie further explains that the matter is set for mention on Monday, April 20, when the circumstances surrounding the deejay’s detention will be brought before the court.

Dexta Daps was arrested last Wednesday by detectives from the St Andrew South Police Division and the Major Investigations Division following what the law enforcement authorities describe as “an investigation that has been going on for some time.”
