Dre Island’s debut album dubbed ‘Now I Rise’ will be officially released this Friday, May 29.

The 14-track CD has four features, which include the likes of Chronixx, PopCaan, and Jesse Royal. Dre Island during a Music News interview said, the album speaks of arising, growth, new beginnings, and emerging from the ashes. He further explains that the album is a part of his project Now I Rise that will go beyond 2020.

Dre Island further elaborates that despite the effects of COVID-19, the release of ‘Now I Rise’ is highly necessary.
