Cedella Marley has put to good use the noble words of her father, reggae legend Bob Marley, for the compilation of her upcoming book.

On Sunday, in honour of Father’s Day, while still celebrating BobMarley’s 75th anniversary of birth, and marking the 40th anniversary of the release of Marley’s classic ‘Redemption Song’, Cedella took to her official Instagram page, to announce her brand new book, ‘Redemption: Reflections on Creating A Better World.’

According to Cedella, the book which is scheduled for a September release includes words that still ring true today, as now more than ever, she has been turning to the wisdom of Bob Marley.

Considered one of Marley’s greatest works, ‘Redemption Song’, released in 1980, contains key lyrics from a speech from Jamaica’s first National Hero Marcus Garvey and has been listed as one of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Times, by Rolling Stones Magazine.
