Dancehall entertainer, Quada, and members of Popcaan’s Unruly camp are today mourning the loss of their friend, ‘Bookha’ who died in a five-vehicle collision in St. Thomas on Sunday (July 5).

Reports from the police are that a convoy of vehicles were traveling along the Retreat main road in St. Thomas, when the lead car came to an abrupt stop upon reaching a narrow section of the roadway, as a truck traveling in the opposite direction approached.

A collision of three vehicles in the convoy then occurred, and the driver of the motorcycle lost control of his bike, which slammed into the rear of one of the vehicles.

The deceased, identified as Duwayne Mitchell, aka Bookha, received serious head injuries and was taken to the nearby Princess Margaret Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Quada, who was on the scene and involved in the collision, walked away injury-free. There were no other casualties.
