Tommy Lee Sparta’s management asks fans to stand in solidarity with the deejay

Dancehall deejay Tommy Lee Sparta remains in police custody after being detained last Tuesday.

On July 7, Tommy Lee Sparta turned himself in after being listed as a person of interest by the police.

Meanwhile, a member of his management, Nicole Taban who is otherwise known as Boss Lady, is urging Tommy Lee Sparta fans to unite and peacefully condemn the discrimination against Tommy Lee Sparta and other entertainers who are wrongfully detained, accused of or imprisoned for alleged crimes that they did not commit.

Taban, via a post made on the dancehall deejay’s official Instagram page, is also asking his supporters to include in their social media feed, or either change their profile pictures on Instagram or Facebook to show solidarity, while Tommy Lee Sparta’s legal team focuses on the entertainer’s freedom.

The dancehall deejay is expected to be questioned by members of the Counter-Terrorism and Organised Crime Investigation Branch (C-TOC), and the Organised Crime Investigations Division (OCID) regarding the recent upsurge of violence in Flanker, St. James.

Tommy Lee Sparta a Flanker native, who no longer resides in the second city, returned to Mobay for questioning as requested by the police, and was detained under the current State of Emergency (SOE) in the parish of St. James.
