Dancehall legend Beenie Man is thanking family, friends, fellow industry players, and fans for their prayers after his mother was released from the hospital.

Earlier this month, the entertainer’s mother was hospitalized at the University Hospital of the West Indies after suffering a series of strokes.

According to Beenie Man, though his mom has been discharged from the hospital, her recovery continues.

On Saturday, the dancehall deejay used Instagram to provide social media users with an update regarding his mother’s health condition. He also used the online platform to thank Minister Marion Hall, formerly Lady Saw for her special prayers and the doctors for their support.

Meanwhile, entertainers Shaggy, Koffee, Vershon, Chi Chi Ching, and Hood Celebrityy, among others have sent Beenie Man positive messages via Instagram.
