Police Commissioner Dr. Carl Williams has condemned the killing of four males, including two teens, in Whithorn, Westmoreland.

The four were killed when gunmen invaded a shop in which they were patrons, and sprayed it with bullets.

Dead are  21-year-old theodore tenant,  20-year-old Romario Drummond, 16-year-old Demar Doeman, also called Geico; and 15-year-old Shawn Clayton – a student of Knockalva High School – all of Old Road District in the parish.

In extending condolences to the families and friends of the four victims Dr Williams assured that the killers would be found and brought to justice.

He added that the police force just concluded a relentless manhunt for the principal murderer of the four men in Claremont St. Elizabeth in May and similar measures will be used to apprehend those responsible for the Whithorn killings.

The police commissioner called on citizens to cooperate with the police to tell what they know, so that the police can put an end to the senseless killings.

Reports from the Whithorn police are that at about 4:40 p.m., the four males were at a shop, playing Nintendo games, when three armed men barged into the premises and opened gunfire at them.

They were taken to hospital where two were pronounced dead, while the other two males died while undergoing treatment.
