by July 31st, 2015

The National Water Commission (NWC) has extended the first leg of the cruncher 180 promotion, which features write-offs of 60% of outstanding balances.

It says people, who come in by August 10, will receive the maximum benefit and pay only 40% of their outstanding balances that are older than 180 days overdue.

The Cruncher 180 promotion is aimed at active and disconnected water accounts, as well as illegally connected water consumers.

The Commission says, with the extension of the first leg, the second leg of the promotion will now begin on August 11, with write offs of 50%, while the third leg will give write offs of 40% from September 1 to 30.

Under the Cruncher 180 promotion, NWC customers are encouraged to take advantage of the opportunity to clear all arrears and bring their accounts up to date.
