Toots Hibbert of the legendary reggae band, Toots and the Maytals remains hospitalized but is improving.

According to Toot Hibbert’s publicist Claude Mills, the entertainer is still on a ventilator but his condition is improving. Meanwhile, his family is seeking more prayers for the Reggae great.

Last Wednesday (September 2), Toots was in a medically-induced coma at the University Hospital of the West Indies after experiencing respiratory problems. A representative of his team tells Music News that Toots is getting the best medical treatment possible, and his progress is being carefully monitored.

On August 28, Toots Hibbert released his latest album, Got to Be Tough.
