The People’s National Party (PNP) is declaring that all is in place for its presidential election, come Saturday.

The party’s general secretary Julian Robinson says just over 3350 delegates are eligible to vote in the November 7 poll, which will see Lisa Hanna going up against Mark Golding.

He states that voting will take place from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m, at 12 locations across the country, and will be managed by the electoral office.

Covid-19 protocols will be observed.

Polling stations will be established at various high schools across the country, with St. Mary and Portland to share the St. Mary high school polling station, and just over one thousand delegates from Kingston and St. Andrew to cast their ballots at the Mico University College.

Mr. Robinson notes that only registered delegates will be allowed to enter the polling stations, to enable physical distancing.

The announcement of the new president will be done at about 5:00 p.m, from the PNP headquarters.
