A sub-committee of the cabinet is to meet Friday, to discuss special measures to be taken this Christmas season in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Noting that Christmas is the season where persons move around and have large gatherings, Health and Wellness Minister Dr. Christopher Tufton says in a bid to prevent the spread of the virus these may have to be avoided.
He says once the sub-committee chaired by Prime Minister Andrew Holness makes the necessary decisions the public will be informed.
