Dancehall legend Beenie Man is requesting positive vibes, love, and light for his son, Moses Davis Jr. who is currently in hospital with sickle cell disease.

In a post made to Instagram on Friday, Beenie Man shared a photo of his son which he captioned in part, “Right now my son is in the hospital @1876prince. He suffers from sickle cell disease. As a black man who suffers from the disease as well, I waan encourage the i dem fi gain some knowledge on it.”

Beenie Man further stated, “Send some positive vibes @1876prince. As a father mi wish ah me di deh deh so instead of him.”

Dancehall entertainers Bounty Killer, Tulox of Twin of Twins, and Teejay are some of the industry players sending Beenie Man positive vibes.

Sickle cell disease is an inherited red blood cell disorder in which there aren’t enough healthy red blood cells to carry oxygen throughout your body.
