Police investigations continue after Dancehall deejay Wasp was shot and injured at his family’s residence in Cassia Park on Wednesday.

Music News understands that the entertainer was reportedly sitting outside of his mother’s house playing music with family members and friends when gunmen opened fire.

Wasp, along with his other family members and friends ran for cover; however, he was hit by a bullet in the left arm.

During a Music News exclusive today (Nov. 27), Wasp said his injuries aren’t life-threatening, and he’s happy no one else got hurt.

Police investigations continue.
