The National Environmental and Planning Agency (NEPA) is appealing to citizens to desist from killing crocodiles, which are protected under the endangered species act.

This, in light of a video circulating on social media, with a man appearing to make soup with a dead reptile.

Speaking with IRIE FM News, Environmental Coordinator for Fauna at NEPA, Ricardo Miller, reminded persons that it is illegal to harm, kill or consume crocodiles.
