Popcaan faces backlash after commenting on Usain Bolt’s ‘Living the Dream’

Popcaan is facing some amount of heat following comments he made on Usain Bolt’s latest project.

The Unruly Boss commented on a video posted by Bolt on his Instagram page promoting his latest single Living the Dream featuring Usain’s Manager and friend NJ.

Commenting on the video Popcaan wrote; ‘Wid all due respect legend, me feel like you fi just help up some youth wid real musical talent! Them deyya nuff. NJ a me fam but please just give some hungry youth wey actually have talent tha platform dey.’ Happy New Year.

Popcaan’s comment has received mixed reactions with some social media users agreeing with his statements while others have chosen to call him out for his lack of support for Bolt. Usain fans have also chimed in. One fan wrote ‘it’s his money and he should be able to as he so pleases’

Living the dream, was produced by Usain Bolt and released on Saturday. The song has amassed over 81,000 views on Youtube. Usain’s previous musical project was the Olympe Rose Riddim in 2019. The riddim was a medley featuring the likes of Christopher Martin, Ding Dong, Dexta Daps, Munga Honorable, and others.
