IRIE FM News understands that some non-academic staff at the Clan Carthy High School is restive over what they claim is victimisation meted out to them by the school’s administration.

This follows a 72-hour strike notice served on the administration of Clan Carthy High on Monday.

Vice president of the National Workers’ Union (NWU), Arthur Grant explains that the union stepped in, following the redeployment of a staff member.

Mr Grants says the affected staff which includes clerks and secretaries are restive as a result of this development.
