Dancehall heavyweight Beenie Man performed for former NBA star Dwayne Wade and his wife actress Gabriel Union in an intimate beach setting on Sunday at an undisclosed location.
As the couple celebrated Dwayne Wade‘s 39th birthday on the beach around a small bonfire, the King of the Dancehall belted out his 1997 smash hit, “Who Am I” (Sim Simma).
Beenie Man shared the video of the private performance on the weekend to his over 795k followers with a caption wishing Wade a happy birthday. “Earth day blessings to my brother @dwaynewayde, more life & blessings. Respect and love to @gabunion. Tonight was one for the books!” he wrote on Instagram.
Dwayne Wade has since responded calling Beenie Man a legend. In the comment section under the post he wrote, “Legend, I was speechless brother, thanks for the love.”
In relating news, Beenie Man is yet to announce a release date for SIMMA, the Album, that was delayed late last year due to personal unexpected challenges, according to the Dancehall legend.
