Detectives assigned to the Falmouth CIB are probing the shooting death of a woman by a man at a church in Falmouth, Trelawny, Sunday morning.

Dead is 51-year-old Andrea Lowe-Garwood, bank manager of Brook Manor in the parish.

Reports are that about 10:30 am. Lowe-Garwood was in a worship session at her church when a man posing as a member of the congregation walked over to her and shot her several times before escaping in a white motorcar.

Lowe-Garwood was assisted to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.
