by February 6th, 2021

Three men, including the step son of a Trelawny church lady, have been charged in connection to her killing, at the Agape Christian Fellowship church, last month.

Deputy Commissioner of Police, in charge of the crime and security portfolio, Fitz Bailey, said also among those charged is the man who allegedly pulled the trigger, on 51-year-old bank manager Andrea Lowe Garwood, of Brook Manner in Falmouth.

Reports are that on Sunday, January 31, Lowe Garwood was at a worship session at her church, on market street in Trelawny, when a man, posing as a member of the congregation, walked up to her, and shot her several times, in the upper body.

Lowe Garwood was taken to hospital, where she died, whilst undergoing treatment.

Police said an investigation was launched, and it was later discovered, that Leon Hines had previously conspired, with Javan Garwood and Dwight Bingham, to kill Mrs. Lowe Garwood.

Police said Hines allegedly drove a white Toyota Allion motorcar, transporting Bingham to the church, where Bingham shot and killed Lowe Garwood.

Bingham then exited the church, and went into the waiting car that was being driven by Hines, and they made their escape.

The court dates for all 3 accused, are being finalised.
