2 deaths and 205 new COVID 19 Cases

Two people died from complications linked to the Coronavirus on Saturday.

The deceased are two men: one aged 58 from Kingston and St Andrew and the other is an 80-year-old from Portland.  The death toll is now 374.

Meanwhile, the country recorded 205 new COVID 19 cases.  They consist of 98 males and 104 females, with three cases under investigation.  They range in age from 4 to  92 years.

St Catherine had the highest number of cases with 51, followed by Clarendon with 39.

Manchester recorded  24 cases, Kingston and St Andrew 22, St James 20, St Elizabeth 14, Westmoreland 9, St Mary and Trelawny 8 each, Hanover 6, Portland 2 and St Ann and St Thomas 1 each.

48 patients recovered and there are 5 thousand 875 active cases.

241 patients are hospitalized, with 24 being critical and 41 being moderately ill.
