Only twelve persons have so far experienced immediate side effects and allergic reactions to the Oxford Astra Zeneca covid vaccine, after they got the jab on Wednesday.
The ministry of health informed the public of the outcome of the first vaccination day, during a covid conversation press conference last evening.
Director of Family Health and Clinical Lead for the Vaccination Implementation Program, Dr Melody Ennis said these side effects were mild, and included rash, swelling, dizziness, and nausea.
Dr. Ennis pointed out that the side effects did not last very long.
