Dancehall deejay PopCaan is calling for the death penalty for rapists in Jamaica.

The brutal murder of 20-year-old Khanice Jackson has sparked outrage across social media platforms with many entertainers leading the charge in the call for justice.

Without mincing his words, PopCaan released a song titled ‘Jungle Justice Part 2’ over the weekend outlining the fate of any man who is a rapist.

Rapper Bobby Schmurda, Dre Island, Romain Virgo, Iba Mahr, Zamunda, and Dane Ray, among countless others, have cosigned PopCaan’s IG message.

On the weekend, messages of Stop The Violence Against Women flooded social media platforms. Members of the entertainment industry led the charge in calling for ‘Justice for Khanice’ after the body of the missing 20-year-old accounting clerk was found last Friday.

Sean Paul, Bounty Killer, Shaggy, Tanya Stephens, Beenie Man, PopCaan, Tessane Chin, Jah Vinci, Gramps Morgan, I-Shawna, producer Skatta Burrell, and Cecile among others joined the online protest demanding an end to violence against our women.

According to a missing person report, Khanice Jackson was last seen leaving her home for work on Wednesday, March 24, and had not been seen or heard from since.

A 50-year-old man who was identified as a person of interest by the police is currently in custody. The police investigations continue.
