206  new COVID19 cases have pushed the country’s case count to 43 thousand  890.

The cases consist of 116 females and 90 males ranging in age from 1  to 97 years.   All parishes had new cases with  Kingston and St Andrew having the highest number with 66.

St, Catherine recorded 30,  St Elizabeth 26,   St Ann 19, St James and Trelawny 12 each, St Mary 11, Manchester 10, Clarendon 7,  Westmoreland 6,  St Thomas and Hanover 3 each, and Portland 1.

There were 2 deaths in the past 24 hours: a 65-year-old male and a 53 year old female both from the Corporate Area. The death tally is now 723.  There was one coincidental death and 2 deaths are under investigation.

323 persons are hospitalized with 35 being critically ill and 22 being moderately ill.   111 persons recovered and there are 23 thousand 142 active cases.
