Health Minister Dr. Christopher Tufton has indicated that test results from the Caribbean Public Health Agency, CARPHA  show that 7 of 10 samples are positive for the UK variant of the coronavirus.

Speaking during last evening’s COVID conversations press conference Dr. Tufton said the other 3 are being investigated.

Dr Tufton noted that the 7 confirmed UK variants would explain the rate of spread in the country.
