Dancehall heavyweight Beenie Man was today fined $150,000 for breaching the Disaster Risk Management Act.

The forty-seven-year-old whose real name is Moses Davis pleaded guilty last month when he appeared in the St. Elizabeth Parish Court.

He was charged in December last year by the police for hosting an illegal party in Shewsbury district in St Elizabeth on November 29.

Meanwhile, the charges stemming from breaching the Noise Abatement Act was dismissed after he pleaded not guilty last month.
