Jamaican actress Shantol Jackson is thanking fans, friends, family, and her social media followers for their love and support.

Shantol, who has recently joined the cast of British–French crime drama television series, Death In Paradise, used her official Instagram page Monday (June 14), to share a message of gratitude with her over 10.2k followers.

Last week, Death In Paradise revealed via social media that they had recruited Shantol Jackson, who will be playing an ambitious young sergeant named Naomi Thomas.

In January, the BBC announced that Death in Paradise had been recommissioned for a further two series (11 & 12), ensuring the programme will air until at least 2023.

Shantol Jackson has over 5 years in the industry and has appeared in films such as Sprinter, Sugar, and Yardie, directed by Idris Elba.
