Reggae Artiste, son of the late Bunny Wailer, Asedenaki, exclusively told Irie FM’s Music News that there will be no public viewing of his dad’s body.

The Younger Livingston said in honouring his father’s personal preference, final wishes and in keeping with the COVID guidelines stipulated by the Ministry of Health and Wellness the family took the decision to not hold a public viewing.

Asedenaki said nevertheless, well-wishers can view the live intermittent sessions of the memorial service on his social media pages. He said a video of the ceremony will be made available to the public after the family regroups.

Asadenaki used the opportunity to thank the public for their support and patience. He noted that the family will be celebrating Jah B and not mourning him.

Neville O’riley Livingston OD more popularly known as Bunny Wailer will be laid to rest at his Dreamland Farm on Friday June 18. He was the second recipient of IRIE FM’s Lifetime Achievement Award. Bunny Wailer died on March 2, 2021.
