A craft shop on the property of the Grand Palladium Resort in Hanover was destroyed by fire last evening (August 11).

Public Relations Officer at the Jamaica Fire Brigade, Emilio Ebanks says the department received a call about the blaze at around 7 p-m.

He notes that no one was injured in the blaze, which is estimated to have caused 2 million dollars in losses.

A team from the brigade is at the site carrying out further investigations to determine the cause of the fire.
