Jamaica yesterday (August 11) recorded 375 new Covid-19 cases.

The country’s case count is now 56,165.

The positivity rate is 31.7 per cent.

The Health Ministry is also reporting 14 more deaths recorded during the period, February 12 to August 9.

The deceased range in age from 34 to 100.

They lived in St. Ann, Manchester, St. James, Kingston and St. Andrew, St. Catherine, Westmoreland, and St. Elizabeth.

350 persons are in hospital, among them are 79 who are moderately ill and 35 who are critically ill.
