Tourism Minister Edmund Bartlett says all tourism stakeholders who interact with visitors will need to be vaccinated.
The minister made the statement while speaking at a ceremony, to mark Jamaica’s one millionth stop-over visitor arrival at the Sangster International Airport.
He said the ministry wants all workers to be vaccinated, and the Jamaica Hotel and Tourist Association, JHTA, would be taking a lead role in achieving this objective.
The Tourism Minister said craft traders as well, will need to be vaccinated, in order to be Covid certified.
