Age is just a number – Sylvia Grant

Six time Paralympics medalist Sylvia Grant remains optimistic that she will be able to put on a good show when she represent Jamaica at the upcoming Tokyo Paralympic Games.

58 year old Grant who first represented the country at the 1988 games in Seoul will be competing at he sixth Paralympics.

Grant who has won three silver medal in 1988, silver, bronze in Barcelona 1992 and another bronze in Atlanta 1996 says despite her age she wont be looking at what others might do but to focus squarely on her game.

Jamaica’s other representatives at the Paralympics are quarter miler Alberto Campbell, Theodore Subba who will contest the 100 kg Judo and Shauna-kay Hines who will be competing in Taekwondo.
